Important Information

• All kayakers must read and sign a release form, and show a valid ID at drop off.
• Parents or legal guardians must sign for children under 18 years of age.
• The rental period begins when the kayak, paddle, and life preserver are dropped off to the renter, and ends upon return.
• The renter is responsible for safe and authorized use of equipment during the rental period.
• Life jackets must be worn while on the water.
• Kayak use for persons under 18 must be under an adult renter’s direct supervision.
• Maximum of 1 adult per kayak.
• Single kayak weight limit: 250 lbs.
• Be considerate and steer clear of other boats while kayaking.
• No alcohol consumption while boating. Rentals will be refused to intoxicated persons.
• ECSC staff reserves the right to cancel rentals due to unsafe conditions (e.g., large waves).
• $100 deposit is required if paying by cash or non-credit card method.
• Credit cards are kept on file until all equipment is returned.
